Riverside Records Showcase – Volume 1

Riverside Records Showcase

Volume 1

Riverside Records was founded in 1953 by Orrin Keepnews & Bill Grauer in order to reissue classic jazz & blues – joined in time by greats such as Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Cannonball Adderley, & Wes Montgomery.

pabloWelcome to the first of our Riverside Records Showcases which sees Mike Chadwick get cracking in his own inimitable style. 10 tracks are served up and cover the years from 1957 – 1962; classic sounds and then some. The list reads like a roll call: Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers. Bill Evans Trio (The). Bobby Timmons. Cannonball Adderley Quintet. Chet Baker. Coleman Hawkins. Mark Murphy. Sonny Rollins. Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane. Wes Montgomery. There’s only one thing you really need to do; #click #listen #discover

Your feedback is always welcome and we hope you enjoy another unique presentation from SoulandJazz.com.
