In this edition of FOLDEDSPACE, a little latin jazz from Poncho Sanchez and the legendary Cal Tjader - guitar genius from Jim Mullen and Pat Metheny and a shining new talent in the shape of Brazilian Lucas Arruda. There's a meeting of musical minds in the shape of Guida de Palma and the man who produced Marvin Gaye's LP 'I Want You' and who wrote and produced for Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones - Leon Ware.
We've two special tracks from multi-instrumentalist Finn Peters - more from the forthcoming Omar LP - soulful vibes from Augusta GA's Fayth Hope and top draw vibes from our very own Bologna based Live Tropical Fish.
I first heard the LP 'Cotton Skies' from vocalist Emily Saunders towards the end of last year. On first hearing I knew she was the real deal. I finally managed to track her down a few weeks ago and record a profile. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did recording it.
