An introduction to Blue Note Records seems hardly necessary. Formed in 1939 by Alfred Lion & Max Margulis, the label is resurgent under new label head Don Was & for over 70 years still continues to remain pivotal in all matters jazz.

Presented by 2010 Sony Radio Academy Award Winner Mike Chadwick, nine tracks are on offer giving you an introductory flavour into the catalogue of this great label.
